Food was okay at best. Not worth the $20 for the steak tips. I found a small tomato cut in half that was absolutely NOT on list of ingredients. I can not have seeds due to dietary issues. The pain is excursiating. Waited a very long time for the check after our plates were taken as well. Good if you just want to drink though. Food was just expensive pub food.
A diamond in the rough ,absolutely delicious .I had some oysters and fish tacos. Best fish taco I've ever had and the slaw they put on it is something that would be good on its own never mind on a perfectly cooked haddock in a soft shell that is slightly toasted. I could eat 12 in a sitting if I could.
I had the steak tips with lobster and risotto it was so very delicious I had no left overs!! Pear cocktail delicious
What a beautiful place this is. I sat outside in the area shown in the photo, but the inside has a very interesting, almost medieval kind of feel. I didn't like the smell inside; not sure what the smell was, or if it's always there, which is why I ate outside. I ordered a burger, fries and chicken wings, and they were all good but not great. The burger was a lot smaller than the bun, and the wings (i got them like mamma makes style) had an ok but kind of odd flavor. The prices were okay. I actually think it's worth eating here once just for the interesting environment.
Returned to this tavern because of the food and was disappointed. It's turned into a bar, food quality is failing and numerous people at the bar swearing loud enough that no matter where you sat you were subject to it. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
