La Petite Fourchette

I went out to celebrate the first weekend of level 2 and I am glad I found this wonderful café. It took a while for me to choose, as the desserts all sounded delicious, I ended up going with the La Fleur raspberry dessert. It was one of the most best desserts I've had! The outside of it had a thin layer of crunchy raspberry coating, and then there was a layer of vanilla mousse and then in the middle there was raspberry jam. I also had a hot chocolate that was warm and very nice.

I tried the Paris brest. It tasted really fresh and was quite light. It was not overly-sweet, which was nice.

Good fitout, the renovations have given the cafe more of a French feel. Ordered the galette de pomme de terre, really good quality salmon, eggs poached well. Only came with one egg though so paid extra for a second.

October 2022: The place is still cute and delicious. I also appreciate that they regularly innovate their cabinet with new dishes. This place justifies it's French name. Delicious coffee and a favourable tiramiso that conviniently comes in a to go cup too much for now? Keep enjoying later. Had a very nice big breakfast there. I especially appreciate that it is possible to order half a portion. Still tasty and enjoyable.
