L'affare Melrose

This hidden cafe in Newmarket is massive! I love their industrial interior. The service is superb. The coffee is great! All the food that we ordered were all yummy. I highly recomomend their fried chicken and waffles. The chicken with a hint of chilli works really well with the maple syrup and the waffles. Thanks to their manager Simone and to their staff Dominique for their hospitality. Will come back soon!

Airy and plush spot tucked away behind Newmarket. They are really great at executing classic brunch things like their eggs Benedict and the French toast. Some of their more adventurous dishes are also quite nice, the chicken in the chicken and waffles were memorable, but the type of waffles are mismatched (perhaps they didn’t want the dish to feel too heavy), the salmon wild rice was nice but I couldn’t figure out what the intended cook on the salmon was meant to be. All together would recommend though, nice space to meet with friends.

This cafe in newmarket has many tables to choose from and is not crowded with people. Great place to have brunch on the weekend or just having a cup of coffee.<br/ <br/ The black rice porridge kind of satisfy my craving for thai mango sticky rice. I love it!! Would recommend for someone who want to have thai mango sticky rice but could not find one in Auckland, this plate may temporary satisfy those wants.

Had my meeting here over coffee and some brunch. The coffee was great and food was decent. It can get a little noisy but that's ok.
