Contribuisci feedbackI used to be a regular at their kingsland location before I moved out of Auckland so now that im back in town and living closer to this shop i ordered delivery from there on a Friday night. I was going to order through Uber eats but the full menu is on their website only and I wanted the Laksa. Food arrived in only 30 minutes which is very good for a friday night and the laksa was huge. It came in a bucket sized container and was very authentic and delicious. We had the second half for lunch the nest day it was that big. We also ordered the drunken noodles and that was yummy and spicy. They have some other interesting dishes on their menu so will return to try them.
We order our food, and it turned up one hour later incomplete and cold. When my friend phoned and politely asked for a refund for the missing order, this was refused instead 25 minutes later this was delivered, obviously having sat in the kitchen cooling down and becoming inedible for 40 minutes or so. The following day my friend wrote an email asking for the refund – this was ignored for a week, then when prompted the owner wrote back stating in the rudest possible manner that the manager was sworn at down the phone. This is an outrageous lie. The manager nor the owner have apologised for their behaviour.
Food took one hour to arrive, was stone cold, under cooked and they’d forgotten one of our orders. I phoned up and politely asked for a refund for the forgotten item. The guy didn’t care and said he couldn’t do a refund as it was too complicated (really? …I told him I didn’t want the forgotten item as I guessed that when it did arrive it would be inedible. Sure enough 20 minutes later I received some inedible stone-cold inedible beef, which I had to throw away along with much of the other food and make alternative arrangements. I emailed the owner the following day who said he’d follow up. He didn’t. One week later, asking for an update I received an offensive reply. It stated that his manager had acted correctly as he had claimed (read LIED that I had sworn at him – the email even quoted the offensive, made up quote featuring the swear word. Waiting nearly 90 minutes to receive inedible food in two deliveries as they forgot the order then refused to offer a refund is bad enough; having the manger lie and fabricate a dialogue which never took place and the owner sending the rudest and most offensive response that I have ever received from a business. The owner has refused to apologise for his manager’s lies and his offensive email…
The first thing I noticed was the enormous quantity! It is great. The fried rice was awesome. Good chunky vegetables in them and a zingy taste to it. The entire meal was delicious.
Really disappointed with the service in Ponsonby on the 29th March 2018. I ordered a vegan Pad Thai and not only did the guy on the phone not know what vegan is and that there is a seperate menu, he was also arguing with me that it comes without tofu (while the menu clearly states that it comes with! sorry but it is important to understand and respect your costumers food choices and to know your own menu. What’s it next time going to be? Fish sauce in a vegan dish? That kind of attitude is not acceptable! I have lost my trust in you guys.
