Cowiche Canyon Kitchen Ice House

We love dining here whenever we visit Yakima and look forward to returning soon.

We experienced excellent service, an impressive open kitchen, and a fun menu with options for kids. We dined on a Friday night and chose to sit on the patio, which was quite loud—possibly due to the closed doors, especially with the temperature around 100 degrees that day. The kids were thrilled with their meals, my wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich and really liked the fries, while I had the prime rib, which was decent but had quite a bit of fat and a chewy outer crust. The baked potato was good, though. Overall, we would definitely consider coming back here when we pass through Yakima again.

Environment is really loud but the food and service is EXQUISITE!

They have many good alternatives, unfortunately the salad I got was not the case, half of the plate were tortilla chips. The waiter was very friendly. They are dog friendly

Very nice and relaxing. Stopped in after a river float tired, hungry thirsty. We ended up sitting in the Ice Bar, which is a smaller bar in the back of the restaurant. We got immediate service the waiter was very knowledgeable and gave us recommendations on what to order and the drinks were fabulous!
