The Tap - Yakima

So much fun trying 1 oz pours from their large selection before selecting my fave IPA! Alex was super friendly orienting us to the system and our happy hour chicken tacos were great! Their tap selection also includes ciders and wines for non-beer lovers, and they feature lots of local Yakima breweries. Great evening out and got to watch the Mariners win!!

Taster menus are tricky for a hophead and Belgian -lover. Grimace no more! Get your own tastes with as much or as little as you can handle. And double down on sours here, since 'tis the season!

Stopped here on our way back to Seattle. We like sampling beer so the set-up for self-pouring taps and charging by the ounce did not disappoint. We ordered food which was delicious considering the limited menu (we had a quesadilla, guacamole and chips, and chicken street tacos). I would like to see their menu expand to include salads personally! Would stop here again while traveling.

More venues NEED to adopt this system! They have a wall of beers (and a few wines and ciders) on tap. Just look at the pictures. The real innovative part is their self service system. You buy a digital wristband worth 32oz. Tap the wristband against the beer you want and it will automatically tell you how much you have remaining on the band and visually track how much you're pouring yourself from the tap. You'll never wait in line again or blow a lot of extra money tipping for every drink. Not sure you'll like something? Just pour yourself 1oz to taste test! Love it? Pour yourself a full glass! We came here for Paint Night for our first time and were not disappointed. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. All their food was delicious! Tons of different drink options. Tip: ask staff for chamoy and tajin rim dip. Great place to come for a date night or with friends.
