Xochimilco Tequila Bar Restaurant

My husband and I absolutely love this place! We've been coming here regularly for about a year, and we always feel welcome. The drinks are consistently strong, with our favorite being the cactus margarita. Luz and Dania are fantastic; they are very attentive and friendly, and they never let our glasses go empty!

Upon arriving, my friends and I were left unattended without so much as a glass of water or napkins. The queso fundido we ordered was not what we expected; it was overly cheesy and completely masked the flavor of the chorizo. My steak fajitas were incorrectly prepared, appearing more like a mound of onions with only a small portion of steak smothered in sauce. The servings of beans and rice were also much smaller than anticipated, leading to a misleading presentation. Additionally, when I requested sliced jalapeños, the response was hesitant, and the serving provided was inadequate, showing a lack of attentiveness to customer needs. The order of enchiladas we took to go was incomplete, missing the beans, and throughout our meal, we were repeatedly asked if we were ready to settle the bill, even while we were still eating. In summary, the combination of poor service and inaccurately represented dishes has left a negative impression on me. Food is overpriced and bland. Bus boy is on point super chill dude. The music is way to loud for the small location. Waiter mis heard me and gave me more of one item and it ended up being 3 orders of one thing. I ended paying almost 200 bucks for 4 people to eat. 2 of the people were kids. Not worth the price or the ambiance. Won't be back.

Amazing staff! Always amazing food and drinks!! We love these guys!! Highly recommend especially if you love margaritas!!

The service was goodBut the food was not much to my liking.I had ordered some shrimp with garlic mojo and they didn't taste like garlic at all. Also, the plate was fuller of mushrooms than even shrimp. The beans tasted a little burnt but eatable.
