Ponte - 岩泉町

Located in Iwaizumi, this is a very beautiful and large limestone cave. Thanks to the attractive and effective lighting and carefully designed facilities, you can fully enjoy it in about an hour. It's also nice that the cave has a different exit and entrance, rather than the same path back and forth. The cave has mostly wide passages, allowing you to walk and stand comfortably, with covers in place in areas where you might hit your head. Although there were no helmets provided, it was perfectly safe to enjoy. However, the stairs are very steep, which might make it difficult for small children. It takes about 2 hours by car on a mountain road from Morioka. The soft-serve ice cream at a shop right after you exit was delicious, so I recommend it. The vending machine accepts credit cards and electronic money, making it very convenient.

I went on a solo trip by car and there was a free parking lot along the river. It wasn't crowded on weekdays, but it may get busy in the summer. It takes about 45 minutes to tour. The tour route is well-maintained, but a jacket and a hat are necessary, and it's best to avoid sandals. The highlight is the "transparent underground lake" with a depth of nearly 100 meters, where underwater lights highlight the depth. I lined up photos along the route from the entrance of Ryusendo Cave. After viewing the underground lake, we went back to the middle of the tour route and passed through the underground lake again before reaching the exit... Be careful not to get lost. It's a mysterious underground lake.

I thought it was just a regular cave, but it turned out to be the opposite. It was really amazing. The 1100 yen entrance fee was reasonable. The cave was very long, taking at least 30 minutes to explore. The lighting was beautiful and I couldn't resist taking several photos. At the end of the cave, there were informative materials about the history and announcements about the depth of the water, making it easy to understand and enjoyable.

ただただ素晴らしい。地底湖の水は透明度が高く底の方まで見えるような気がします。 自然が創った造形は本当に美しいですね 機会があればオススメです。 まわりも整備されて、公園としてもキレイなところです。

岩手県下閉伊郡岩泉町にある鍾乳洞の「龍泉洞（りゅうせんどう）」へ土曜の15時過ぎに8人で行ってきました 場所は盛岡市から東へ車で約2時間ほどでしょうか。 入洞料は大人1,100円でした この龍泉洞は、山口県の秋芳洞や、高知県の龍河洞とともに日本三大鍾乳洞と称せられるようです。 洞窟の全長は5km以上と推定され、透明度の高い水を豊富にたたえ、ドラゴンブルーの輝きを持つ地底湖がかなり素晴らしかったです あの透明度は凄いですね。 その地底湖の水深は98mもあり、湧水量は毎秒1,500リットルとは凄いです その水量は雨の日は増えるので、日によっては立入禁止になることもあるようです。 今回は約25分間歩いて鍾乳洞を楽しみました 三原峠と呼ばれる地底湖水面からおよそ35mの観光コース最高地点まで階段で登ってもみました この日は外は気温20℃ほどで過ごしやすかったですが、鍾乳洞内は気温10℃ほどでかなり涼しかったですね ただすぐに慣れ、寒くはなく心地よかったです 湿度は90%ほどありました 龍泉洞はさすが日本三大鍾乳洞の１つで特に地底湖の透明度が素晴らしく、とてもオススメです！
