This restaurant is amazing! The food is delicious, the beach view is beautiful, and the staff is fantastic. We had Madison as our server for lunch, and she was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, providing great recommendations. The place was clean and well-organized. The fish taco was huge and delicious, and the fried chowder was a must-try. The prices were reasonable and the food quality was excellent. We will definitely be back, as even my kids and husband agree that we need to return. And to top it off, you can get a frozen cocktail with your own face on it - just ask your server. It's a really cool touch!

We haven 't been to Skipper Restaurant and Chowder House in years but managed to get our party of four over here for dinner. So glad we did. What a perfect dinner it was. Our wait person 'Mary ' is a joy to have serve us. She brought this super personality with a bright smile to our table. Welcomed us and began by offering us to place a beverage order. Minutes later our choices of refreshments were placed on our four top. Great! We took some time to view the extensive menu offerings. A selection of fish, meat and so many different dishes prepared to entice every appetite. Mary returned, took our order and asked if we needed anything else. Away she went to the kitchen. The place is bright, clean and adorned with the sea and fisherman 's decor. No dust bunnies or cobwebs anywhere to be seen. Nice! Our meals were presented in a few minutes, plated perfectly and still hot to the touch. My dinner was Baked Scrod, vegetable medley and a side salad to my liking. My friends all were totally satisfied with their dining selections. Not one negative concern about their meals. That 's a home run! The pricing reflects the quality of the offerings and Skipper does it right. Great food, great drinks and Great service. Highly Recommend!! We had such a great time here, and the food was FABULOUS! Shrimp cocktail, deep fried clam chowder, bowls of clam chowder, and the quohog for appetizers and all of if was great. Of all the places we stopped on our east coast trip, I think the clam chowder here was indeed the BEST! We had a couple of whole lobsters which were HUGE and cooked perfectly. Giggled a little when a hostess brought my brother (who didn't even have lobster) a bib because she was concerned about myself and my mom's ability to not spray him with lobster . He had a deep fried seafood platter that did not disappoint. We didn't save room, but had to have desert, and wow it was also great!

Out here in the Cape Cod, MA area and I was looking for a place with a great clam chowdah and lobster roll. Safe to say that this place did not disappoint. The Skipper restaurant and Chowder house was exactly what I needed. The traditional bowl of clam chowder was definitely award winning and the lobster roll was classically prepared and tasted just as great as it looks. Service was great! Ocean view was great! 5 star experience all the way around!

First time at the Cape and of course had to try the local seafood! The atmosphere of this restaurant was very chill. The food came out SUPER fast! The clam chowder was delicious. The tuna steak was to die for! Yum! I would recommend getting there early (around 5) to put your party's name on the waiting list; as they are very busy. They send you a text when your table is ready.
