Galloway Pub - Yellowhead County

We spent the night in Edson and wanted somewhere near. Many locals. The food was good. Limited menu, but the food was prepared in a food truck. Service was good, food was good too.

There's nothing better than looking into a hotel after a long day on the street and then finding a place to relax! The Galloway Lounge!! If you can show me a better one in Edson, I'd be shocked. Local people ready to chat,...friendly servers and great food! Several TVs see your sport. Did I mention the friendly servers? Go and relax! Cheers Galloway!!

I stayed at the Best Western for a business trip and this Galloway Pub is attached. Stacy and Dey were fantastic - they were friendly and easy to communicate with. The service was top-notch, the food was good, and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

I'm allergic to a food additive it was a bit disappointing to find that most of the food contained MSG however the server went and asked not only once but twice about food that I wanted to order to ensure it was MSG...free that is not usual at a lot of places the server was attentive and genuinely had my health concerns in mind did find something I could eat and it was good I've eaten and drank in Galloways pretty much every time work has taken me to Edson it's always been fresh and the staff has always been helpful the turkey sandwich I had is not made from processed meat it's the real thing off of an actual bird. My only request would be dump the MSG so the rest of the menu opens up that may be the reason that some of the other reviews come off as they do use ALOT of MSG in their food. Both my friends who dined had tummy and bathroom issues because of it.

Stayed at the Super 8 hotel, just across the car park, Galloway 's is located in The Best Western the sister hotel. There is a Chinese type buffet thing as well, but we ignored this. Galloway 's is a NO FRILLS AT ALL restaurant/bar which offers a...very comprehensive menu. I had my best ever, in 69 years, steak. They have an enormous choice of beers and other alcoholic concoctions. Great place.
