General's Deli - Yokuts Valley

Definitely recommend the grilled hot dog! Nicest owners, you'll immediately feel welcomed to their restaurant!

Perfect stop on the way to kings Canyon. Delicious sandwiches and the owners are very welcoming and friendly, would definitely come back!

This amazing deli, which has only been in business for a month and a half, is found in a pair of inconspicuous yurts outside of Kings Canyon National Park at the intersection of 180 and Dunlap Rd. It sells sandwiches, hot dogs, beer, and soda.... and after a weekend of hiking and camping, that's all we needed. The sandwiches are AMAZING! Lots of meat and cheese, none of this single slice stuff. The rolls are also delicious and the other fillers (lettuce, tomatoes, etc) are fresh. The owners work there on Sundays and have other employees working there the rest of the time. They are really nice people and work hard to make this a great simple sandwich place. They have 2 beers on tap at a time, which were 805 and Coors when we were there. They also had a bunch of bottled beers too. There's a tv that they put our favorite football team's game on for us. This was our first time here and we were very glad we chose to stop here on our way out of King's Canyon. Thanks for a great lunch!

I went this afternoon to grab some sandwiches, but unfortunately, they were closed. The parking lot was blocked off, and there was a sign for a sale out front.

Excellent service! We were warmly greeted with a friendly hello as soon as we walked in. The sandwiches are fantastic. It's the perfect spot for a quick break, and of course, we made sure to ring the bell!
