Stam Maria Greek Street Food York

We stumbled upon this amazing restaurant by following our noses. When we first tried to eat there, there was a long line during peak hours. However, we returned later and it became clear why the line had formed. The gyros were delicious and served generously, making it a truly satisfying dining experience.

Visited with my daughter during our day out in York. We saw a huge queue and we felt like we had to try! We weren’t disappointed; we both had spicy chicken gyros and a halloumi fries to share. Very tasty and generous portions.

The restaurant serves authentic Greek wraps with a variety of options, including vegetarian and vegan choices. The staff is consistently friendly and polite, always ready with a smile.

I have been a regular at this Greek restaurant since it opened. In all honesty, you can't go wrong with whatever you choose to order here. My daily routine consists of working, enjoying a Greek lunch, and then getting back to work again!
