There are people in CG uniforms all over Liberty Lounge II, which kills the vibe. Either go to work or change clothes, but get out of the bar! The bartenders are cool but understaffed, so show them some love with tips. Overall, this is the coolest spot at the training yard if you're just over 21 and moving out of your mom's house. Buy a car and go explore elsewhere.
Great spot for hosting big events like Navy Chief Pinning ceremonies!
I traveled from Pennsylvania for the U.S. Coast Guard Graduation and had a great experience at this restaurant. The bartender was friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The service was excellent, and the overall meal was great. The restaurant offers dine-in options, but does not have outdoor seating, takeout, delivery, or curbside pickup. The price per person ranges from $50-100.
The restaurant only offers fried food on Sundays and has a limited selection of liquor. I usually order the grilled chicken salad, which for some reason takes 30 minutes to make, but it's decent. The atmosphere has a dive bar feel with a strong sausage presence.
I visited this restaurant for a U.S. Coast Guard graduation. The bartender was the most beautiful and the prices were excellent. The food was also delicious.
