Marco's Pizza - Yorktown

I attempted to place a delivery order and, after waiting 15-20 minutes beyond the estimated delivery time, I called to find out that my order had been canceled without any notification. It seems this pizza place has a practice of sending their delivery drivers home before their closing time. To make matters worse, the assistant manager outright lied about having called to inform us of the cancellation. When I pointed out that I hadn’t received any call, he altered his story, claiming he had left a message instead—another falsehood.

Great pizza for the price! The crust is fantastic, the sauce is delicious, and they even offer a military discount!

We have ordered from this restaurant numerous times, and each time, the pizza has been exceptional, and the staff has been wonderful. Tonight, the night before Thanksgiving, we placed an order. Despite the busyness of the evening and only having one driver on duty, they delivered our pizza to us promptly, coupled with outstanding customer service!

They forgot to add the garlic sauce to the crust, even though it was listed on the receipt. It was pretty frustrating to get home and find that out. The service also wasn’t great, and the cashier seemed distracted. I showed my military ID but didn’t receive the discount. Overall, it was a mediocre experience, but unfortunately, it’s the only restaurant nearby.

This restaurant is amazing! It’s a wonderful new spot on the outskirts of Yorktown. The place is immaculate, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the food is outstanding—especially the gluten-free pizza! It can be tough to find great gluten-free options, but they have truly mastered it here. The side dishes are also fantastic, and the service is top-notch. The employees appeared genuinely happy and were enjoying themselves, which indicates that management is doing a fantastic job caring for their team. Keep up the excellent work, Marco's!
