Great fast multilingual service. no waiting times and super good from the local kitchen. could only roll to the house
Went for dinner with a friend. My wife and I did our normal shared meal. We ordered the stuffed schnitzel, stuffed with local cheese and mushrooms. It was out of this world. The meal came with fries but the server allowed us to substitute spaetsle(a flour based pasta common to Austria) and even brought us an extra portion. We chose to eat outside as the weather was great. They do have spacious inside dinning too. Wait staff spoke great English and there were English menus.
The outer ambiente let us choose the metzgerwirt. also in the interior areas bright and appealing. the service was fast and friendly. the selection in the menu offered the usual, actually nothing really inspiring. also the then chosen dresses were good, but nothing I would have expected for the most demanding price. my twill roast was a thin disc beef decorated with a few tweepers. I know that differently. I really wanted to eat Austrian, but this left a rather average impression.
We enjoyed eating here. It was nice to sit in the little garden rather than out on street tables. It's a big place, catering for large touring groups as well as independent travellers. There are specials that change regularly on the menu, so we never ran out of options. The venison ragout was very tasty, and the Salzburger Nockel (prepared to order) was well worth waiting for.
