Sauloch Alm - Zell am See

Pizza is not homemade looks and tastes like something directly from the freezer. French fries wasn’t good either.

Unfriendly staff, long wait, cold chicken, trying to pay and being ignored by waitress who had other more important things to do. Waiter thought it was productive to go into discussion that chicken was not cold inside. It was! Easily the worst restaurant experience in...my life. Should be stars instead of star. Oh yeah and no wifi on the terrace so writing this review hours later. Was it cheap perhaps? No.

The view from the terrace is fantastic and the toilet is modern and clean. But the food we had was disapponting. It is not easy to destroy a bratwurst but they could! Deep-fried until it gets distasteful. The waiter forgot that a salad should have...been included. We won’t come back.

Die Sauloch Alm liegen mitten auf dem Maiskogel in Kaprun. Leider ist sie innen recht eng, so dass zum Teil der Service nur schwer durchkommt. Auch das Essen haut einen nicht gearde vom Hocker.

This is the alm the closest to the Maiskogel Bahn. If you are up to it, go up to Grossglockner Alm, which looked much nicer; or go to Unterberg Alm which has the best view. However it was closed when we got there, so check...before you go. Back to service at the Sauloch Alm: The waiter was uninterested and seemed to hate his job. The best tables had a handwritten note saying reserved from We were there at but were not allowed to sit at the tables with the best view. We were allowed to sit at the tables, with the same note, with less view. Go figure. I had the Apfelstrudel which was okay. Avoid this place.
