Schirmbar Zur Lederhos'n - Zell am See

So many bland Apres Ski places..... this is how it should be done! Great staff, average price beer/food for the resort (no horrific money count in the morning.... you know what I mean...) and pumping tunes, with that bizarre Austrian way of adding an Accordian to everything.... It's always a good sign if the ski instructors drink in a place (they know where the good times are, trust me...), and you'll usualy find a good mix here from all the Kaprun ski schools.

You will sit next to people from all over the World here, everyone in a happy approachable mood, we made so many friends so quickly, no one would allow us to buy our own drinks, they just continued to appear infront of us, needless to say we swayed away with zig zag foot prints in the snow, even upon arriving the next day, someone had bought another round for us, but the staff would not say who, Hope this has been of some help for you...

Good food and drinks! A nice place to wait for your kids to retur after the ski lessons! Excellent "kaiserschmarren" the Austrian pancakes. Enjoy!

I just had a drink, but the location is great; the view is lovely and its very popular. The menu is small, but manages to crank out a variety of local food, As with all bars in Kaprun, prices are reasonable - €4.20 for a large beer at the time of writing

Looked like a good bar for Apres Ski and probably would have been OK if we wanted to drink but my wife and I went in for a couple of cappuccinos and were really disappointed. They were undrinkable. Wont be stopping off again
