Wirtshaus Zum Metzgerwirt - Zell am See

Spontaneously, we decided on the metzgerwirt because of the impressive house. the interior was very appealing and the staff was very friendly. eating was ok, nothing special, but quite costly. there is a point to go

Went for dinner with a friend. My wife and I did our normal shared meal. We ordered the stuffed schnitzel, stuffed with local cheese and mushrooms. It was out of this world. The meal came with fries but the server allowed us to substitute spaetsle(a flour based pasta common to Austria) and even brought us an extra portion. We chose to eat outside as the weather was great. They do have spacious inside dinning too. Wait staff spoke great English and there were English menus.

The outer ambiente let us choose the metzgerwirt. also in the interior areas bright and appealing. the service was fast and friendly. the selection in the menu offered the usual, actually nothing really inspiring. also the then chosen dresses were good, but nothing I would have expected for the most demanding price. my twill roast was a thin disc beef decorated with a few tweepers. I know that differently. I really wanted to eat Austrian, but this left a rather average impression.

Great fast multilingual service. no waiting times and super good from the local kitchen. could only roll to the house

We were there in a 4s group, very friendly received, eating came also fast, was very tasty only a small point to get off because the portion size at the gulasch and pork was a little small the carving was more than sufficient, in large and very highly recommended, nice personal and ambiente!
