Les Marmottes - Zermatt

The food is good and the portions are large, as are the drinks. Unfortunately, it's self-service, and I'm sure they could make more sales if they served...

My wife, our four children and I had lunch on the terrace with a beautiful view to the mountains that surround the Matterhorn, on a nice sunny skiing day. Food was excellent but above all the staff was very friendly all along the meal making us feel "at home."

Had a lovely lunch yesterday .stunning location and the food was delicious. Imesch wines (local) was a bonus and a lovely surprise. Thank you and we will be back!

This is a MUST while in Zermatt! We had such an amazing experience that we went two days in a row! To start off, the location is perfect and the atmosphere is so cozy and quaint. You will immediately feel comfortable. The owners, Nadine and Robi were right there to greet us as we arrived and of course they provided outstanding service!Furthermore, this is a true "farm to table" restaurant. Everything on the menu is either from Nadine and Robi's farm or Robi has been out hunting. This is a prime example of "all natural and organic." The quality is out of this world and cooked to perfection! We love red wine and their wine list was superb with Robi providing great recommendations. We felt so comfortable and had such a great time we didn't want to leave. Hopefully we will be back sooner then later!

I was there having a brunch on a Sunday. quiet expensive, but this is a problem everywhere in Switzerland. The real problem happen about 20 minutes after I left. I don't know what was wrong with the food/drink, but I had urgent need to go to the bathroom while I was walking down to Zermatt. Was terrible. I made it just in time.
