Rothorn - Zermatt

Very friendly and cozy, great food. Delicious pizza and other italian dishes. Great also for families with kids, with kids menus. Nice atmosphere in chalet style.

What a bad experience !! i wemt there with my family and the manager was realy bad to us , giving us a table of 4 but we booked a month ago for 6 ! he was agressive and not nice . NEVER AGAIN !!!

O restaurante Rothorn situado no cume do Rothorn a 3.100 metros de altura além da experiência gastronómica típica da Suíça proporciona aos seus clientes uma vistas absolutamente fantástica.Em termos de restaurante existe uma variada seleção de pratos de gastronomia tradicional, sendo possível também encomendar pratos personalizados. Tem duas grandes salas para refeições e uma esplanada espetacular, que sempre que o tempo permite as mesas são disputadas ao milímetro.Naturalmente a maioria dos clientes nesta altura do ano são skiadores amadores e profissionais, mas também é acessível por teleférico a qualquer cliente que venha só para ver as vistas. Os bilhetes de teleférico são caros mas vale bem a pena pelo espetáculo dos Alpes. A comida sem ser espetacular é bastante agradável e tem qualidade, bons vinhos e cerveja. Existe a possibilidade de fazer uma refeição mais ligeira á base de massas ou pizzas, ou simplesmente aquecer com um chocolate quente. O serviço é amigável e todo o ambiente é absolutamente descontraído. Em matéria de custo naturalmente não é barato como tudo o resto na Suíça. Já cá estive em 2014 e é sempre um prazer voltar. Recomendo.

While working with Zermatt Bergbahnen this was the nearest restaurant to where i was working so i stopped here and got my lunch. The menu mainly serves pizza but that makes sense. It was nice to get out of the 1'c outside and into the warmth. The service was prompt and surprisingly the prices were decent considering it's a mountain restaurant. I would recommend.

As a ski teacher working in Zermatt I took my clients to this restaurant because they wanted to have lunch at the place with warm atmosphere, couzy interier, nice and kind service, reachable by skis as well as on foot, with delicious high quality food including very good wine and with the view to the glaciers and Matterhorn. You think it's impossible to get it all in one? No, it is not. Rothorn Ristorante Pizzeria have it all !!! Especially that warm and friendly attitude to all the guests, quick service and amazing food. The manager Mr. Tonino Cerasola is a lovely person who always make sure if the guests are happy and had enough to eat and drink. Me and my clients were feeling very welcome there. It was a great experience that will bring me and my clients definitelly back!
