Da Carmen - Zug

My wife and I went there on a week evening, while it was still warm outside, to try this place which we had always seen but always forgotten when it came to choosing a place to eat out. We were unexpectedly please by the place, both the small garden with trees (where we ate) and the inside, cosy and warm. My wife took a pizza and I took what I consider to be the stable-plate of any Swiss restaurant: the cordon bleu. The pizza was average and the cordon bleu was really bad, dry, very crusty, with meat that due to overcooking lost all of its flavour, with a strange tasting cheese... disappointing. Perhaps we should have tried the paella, but I am very hesitant to go there again after trying out the pizza and cordon bleu. I suppose this is a good casual place to go, when you don't have any better option and if you're not expecting too much...

Great food in a simple but friendly atmosphere. Good pizza, pasta and Tiramisu! We like to come here as it is our local and we are lucky that we live nearby. Can highly recommend the food.

Ich habe schon mehrmals in diesem Restaurant gegessen. Bisher wurde ich nie enttäuscht und es hat immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Einrichtung ist eher schlicht und einfach. Die Plastikstühle im Garten sind zweckmäßig und das Interieur drinnen ist auch schon etwas älter. Der Service ist freundlich, aber nicht immer der schnellste. Sonderwünsche werden zwar entgegengenommen, aber oft nicht oder nur teilweise umgesetzt. Trotzdem stimmt für mich das Gesamtpaket und ich werde hier sicherlich wieder essen.

Tolles Essen in einer einfachen, aber freundlichen Atmosphäre. Gute Pizza, Pasta und Tiramisu! Wir kommen gerne hierher, denn es ist unser Einheimischer und wir haben Glück, dass wir in der Nähe wohnen. Kann das Essen sehr empfehlen.
