Huá Yuàn - 志木市

I visited this restaurant for the first time. I was very pleased with the kind and courteous service that made me feel warm inside. The food was also very delicious.

I chose the Shaoxing wine with century egg and twice-cooked pork from the "Good Job Set". The Shaoxing wine on the rocks with complimentary fried peanuts was delightful and delicious. It had been a while since I last had century egg, but it paired perfectly with the Shaoxing wine. The twice-cooked pork was cooked to perfection with a nice crunch from the vegetables. For the finale, I tried the recommended hot and sour soup noodles by the waiter, and it was delicious, just as he had suggested. The "Good Job Set" offers a choice of two dishes along with alcohol for 980 yen, making it a great deal.

I used this restaurant for weekday lunch. The price was cheap, but the portion was generous and delicious, making me truly "full" as the name suggests. You can help yourself to salad and pickled vegetables. The individual dishes are also reasonably priced, and they serve alcohol, so I would like to try going there at night next time.
