Freeway - Artarmon

The pub food here is rather average, and the prices feel a bit high for what you get. The schnitzels are freshly fried and served hot, and the chips are decent, but nothing to write home about. It's convenient to have waiter service for beer, although I believe this is offered only on certain days.

This is a classic local pub, but with fantastic food! Ever since the new chef and menu arrived about a year ago, I've been coming here weekly. The food is truly excellent! The portions are generous and very reasonably priced. You have to try the steaks here; not only are they high quality, but the chef cooks them to perfection! Tonight, I had the ribeye (350g) for $30, which comes with two complimentary side dishes (you can choose from 10 options). I went with the onion rings and sautéed mushrooms with spinach in a porcini mushroom sauce (also with 10 different sauces to choose from).

I waited an hour and a half for a burger, which was the only thing I had to eat. When I addressed my concerns with the staff, they were rude and unhelpful. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

No bad pub feed at all. people think it's a dive, but I think it's a great place to eat lunch, see the foot and talk to some bumpers.

Surprisingly... A wonderful experience! Though the place is a real dive, the menu is amazing! Awesome portions quality for cheap prices. Varied menu to cater for all tastes preferences... Home-cooked feel restuarunt quality food for afordable prices
