The Okeover Arms - Ashbourne

If you're looking for a pub with exceptionally friendly staff, a special menu featuring top-notch, well-prepared dishes, and properly served real ale, then this is the place for you. If you're traveling and need a place to stay, there's ample parking available for overnight visitors. I only wish we lived closer, as this would definitely be our go-to local spot. A big thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable!

Very friendly and helpful rental and bar staff. nothing was too much annoyed. the food was excellent and well dimensioned portions. room was clean and comfortable, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. would not hesitate to stay here again.

The restaurant is clean and bright, featuring a very friendly and helpful staff that makes for a delightful atmosphere. They’re quite fun to chat with as well. As for the food, it was excellent! I ordered the salmon, which came with two good-sized fillets that were full of flavor, complemented by a wonderful parsley sauce. Definitely worth a visit if you're nearby!

Delicious food and drinks! We arrived without a reservation, but they managed to find us a table and warmly welcomed our guide dog puppy into the bar. The staff was friendly and, despite making a mistake with our order, they promptly and effectively corrected it. We're so glad we decided to visit!
