Starting with the pleasant, this is a fish restaurant in front of the sea something that sets it apart. The menu is quite modest and simple with the salads and side dishes being quite tasty. However, the fish we ordered may have been fresh but the grills burnt it at best. They served us blackened and dry. When you pay 50 euros per kilo you expect at least a decent roast. Anthony For me, Fischer Taverne is an original, pure romance, nice hosts and the red house wine tasted wonderful, unfortunately we were too late in this wonderful place, the season was already over at Antonis. I make an evaluation based on the food served; and the fish here was very fresh, you only eat the catch of the day and it is cooked in the simplest way possible, to enhance the freshness of the fish...... We tourists from Italy ate in about 15 days of holiday in Skyros 6 times, and Mrs. Maria, the cook, satisfied us in all our requests. I think it is the best fish restaurant on the island...... a hug to Mrs Maria from all of us........
