G'raj Mahal Mumtaz Market On 1st

I loved this place. I am not a big fan of Indian cuisine due to too much curry and hot spices or Sone food tend to be Bland. I was overwhelmed with local Mexican and brew pub food. I love the ambience of this place and really wanted to eat in this beautiful place. I told the waiter what I did and didn't like. I like a little kick and nothing Bland. He was helpful to explain the dishes. He helped me to decide on shrimp corma and of course. I also had a local beer. My late lunch was great. I even enjoyed the birds hopping from table to table. I even have a conversation with a manager. Both were very personal. Lunch was a little expensive, but it was my main meal for the day. Do not watch this place

I had a wonderful experience with the customer service provided by our waitress (I regret not catching her name!). While I personally wasn't a fan of the flavors in the food—possibly because it was my first time trying Indian cuisine—I did get to sample several dishes from friends, which were just okay overall. The lamb, however, stood out as my favorite, especially with its generous squeeze of lemon juice. Although I didn't take many photos, I really appreciated the atmosphere, particularly the uniquely designed restrooms. The only drawback was the dim lighting; it would be helpful if the menu's font were bolder or larger, as we struggled to read it without using our cell phones.

The container arrived less than half way full. Tikka Masala only had like 5 chunks of chicken. We ordered two meals and got 10 small pieces of chicken for $50. So disappointing after hearing great things.

Love the ambiance and the service. The restaurant looks really wonderful and interesting. The spice level is wonderful and if you visit in winter do try the ‘tamatar soup’ full spicy.

I'll go to Austin every night. The Fruits Nuts Naan is my favorite, accompanied by every dish. I always go for the Tikka Masala with chicken (med wicy) and another dish, such as the corma or mahani with lamb, and slightly spicier. Portions are good and always tasteful. I just LOVE this place great location, excellent service and fun ambience.
