Johnny Carino's - Austin

I haven't eaten at Johnny Carinos in a while, since they closed the one close to me. And it was a huge disappointment. While I was waiting to pick up my to go order, which was behind, like a couple of other people that were waiting before me, a phone callcame in saying that they hadn't gotten their order right. This led me to pull everything out of my bag to make sure they had itall. They did not. And they didn't have something at all that I had ordered, and the substitution was unacceptable. I have tosay when you walk in, it looks like it's not managed very well, nothing like it used to be. To top it all off, my daughterordered fried ravioli (supposedly with cheese on the inside) and my picture says it all. I won't be back and I suggest you stayaway as well. edit since I already spoke to the manager in the store without any positive resolution before I posted myreview, I won't be calling the manager again expecting anything different. I stand by my original statements that you shouldn'teat here. You can find really good Italian food at many different places, no need to give this place your business.

We experienced a long wait for our food, and unfortunately, it wasn’t very impressive. My soup contained only a few pieces of green beans and was mostly made up of what seemed like an entire celery stalk. The flavor reminded me of canned tomato chunks, which was quite disappointing. I think I’ll stick to my favorite restaurant, Carino's on N. IH 35, where the food is always delicious. On a positive note, our waiter was very kind.

The bartender at this location on South Park seems to dislike her job. The service is consistently poor and frustrating. This is my third visit in the last two weeks, and each time, she has had a bad attitude. I cannot recommend this place.

Have not been to Johnny Carinos in 5 years since the one in San Marcos unfortunately shut down. It was my favorite restaurant. We had Adrian as our server he was so helpful with everything we needed. And everything tasted just like it did 5 years ago!!Oil with bread Raspberry Italian cream soda are the best and what make the business unique!

I wasn't satisfied with my soup, so I didn't eat it, but my waitress still charged me for it. My pasta was dry, and when I requested more sauce, I was charged for that as well. I don't plan on coming back.
