Kalimotxo - Austin

We picked this restaurant because we enjoy the concept of small bites that is popular in Spain. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was delightful. We tried the sardines, mushrooms, and a burger, all of which were very flavorful. However, the portion sizes were quite small. Typically, we can share dishes and feel satisfied, but here you’ll need to order more than you might expect since the servings are limited. Our server did try to give us a heads-up about that. Fortunately, the cheesecake dessert more than made up for the small plates, as it was absolutely delicious.

Kalimotxo was an amazing experience, and we highly recommend it! The ambiance is lovely, particularly outdoors in the fall weather of Austin, and the food was delicious.

The pan con tomate and the papas bravas are absolutely outstanding. Every cocktail is fantastic!
