La Gordita Loca - Austin

Best gorditas in town. Period. Las mejores gorditas de Austin.

This was the fourth stop of day one's #4) Taco Crawl. We ranked each place on service, taste, and space. I only researched, via G Maps, times businesses are open. Little to no English is spoken but staff is friendly! I got chorizo breakfast taco and barbacoa. Both were good. Covered seating and decent amount of parking. Overall I would recommend, top 3 of the N. Lamar strip we tried.

We are Mexican food fanatics and La Gordita Loca is on par with (if not better than! some of the absolute best, featured on TV places we've been and for a fraction of the cost DELICIOUS! Thank you!

Not only one of the best burritos I have had but for $6 you won't find a better deal. I will be recommending this to everyone I work with and I will be returning regularly!

Food was amazing and price was just right. There wasn't any English on the menu, that how you know its authentic. The red salsa is kind of spicy, becareful how much you put on it.
