Lavaca Teppan - Austin

It's a reliable favorite and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

I don't remember his name, but the person at the counter was incredibly friendly. The Gulf shrimp were so delicious that we returned the next day for more.

The service was prompt. The food was decent, though not exceptional. While the tacos could have used more flavor, I recognize that catfish is a milder option. The atmosphere was lively and somewhat noisy, but it had a great vibe.

This place was a find. Good prices on food and drinks. Outdoor seating as long as you don't drink...I was inside. I loved the calamari and the Queso Guac chips. It is deceptively large inside the place and goes back quite a ways.

The staff is the best in Austin. Great drinks, vibe and location. All around one of the best bars around.
