I tried out this adorable pasta restaurant in Austin and decided to order takeout. However, I quickly realized that I should have stayed and dined in instead. The pasta was top-notch quality and the sauces were incredibly tasty. We got a good selection of dishes so we could sample a bit of everything at home. Overall, I would give the food a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.
This restaurant serves some of the best freshly made pasta with incredible flavors. My favorite dishes are the Bruschetta and Garlic bread. I recently tried a Lemon flavored pasta dish that was full of great flavor. I always request extra sauce on my pasta, even though there is an additional charge, because it takes the flavor to the next level. The ambience of the restaurant and support for local food trucks never disappoints. They switch up the types of pasta they offer daily, so it's always exciting to try something new.
Amazing, amazing food! Worth the inevitable wait you’re going to have with everything being made fresh. Absolutely great and patient customer service with them willing to answer all the questions I had. Great atmospheric here even in the triple digit heat. And the Butterfly Bar had a great menu and nice staff as well and allowed for indoor eating. also, so affordable for the experience and quality you receive! I will be back as soon as I can.Vegetarian options: Very veggie and vegan friendly. They are willing to make accommodations for any meal that isn’t already vegetarianParking: Was easy for us the find parking, even on a Saturday night when they had a show at The Vortex
After saving Patrizi’s years ago on my list, I finally decided to try it out for a date night. We were immediately assisted with their ordering processes and explained specials. We ordered their eggplant pasta, diavolo, garlic bread and tiramisu. Food came out in waves and everything was so so delicious. The garlic bread toast was to die for and portions were heaping. The pasta had a delicious bite and flavor, packed with sauce and toppings. Everything tasted so good and unique. The tiramisu was delicious as well. The Vortex itself is a really cute area with lots of parking, covered seating, and entertainment. It was storming so we didn’t get to enjoy the live music and drinks, but I would definitely come back to try more food and drinks.
