Pueblo Viejo - Austin

Last night, I decided to grab a chorizo burrito for dinner and stopped by the Riverside location. The decor was stunning, with beautiful pictures of birds adorning the walls.

I was surprised by the underwhelming experience at this restaurant despite its 4.4 star rating. The food was bland and the staff seemed indifferent to our presence when we were waiting to be served.

I cannot believe the size of these tacos! The fish tacos were by far the crispiest, plumpest, most delicious tacos I have ever had. The guacamole was incredibly fresh, and don't even get me started on the red roasted tomato salsa. It paired perfectly with the thin, crispy tortilla chips that weren't too salty. The service was also impeccable. The kitchen is visible through glass so you can see how clean and safe they are. The lady at the front was the sweetest! I even saw them serving Caldo de pollo, which is a rare find. I now have a reason to come back for more of their amazing tacos.

The tacos here are amazing and fresh. I don?t live in Austin but every time I visit I have to come here and often crave it when I?m home. The salsas are amazing!
