Ranch 616 - Austin

The place never disappointed. at this point perhaps a Austin-Institution.

Waitress was extremely rude and did not want to split checks. Very rude!

Have dined at Ranch at least 20 times in the past. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit. The food is barely edible now. I had to spit the chicken out bc it tasted old. The fish was really mediocre. To top it off, the waitress kicked us out of our table after 2 hrs. The Ranch Waters tasted different too (too sweet). Super bummed because we loved Ranch (celebrated many important life events there). It has really gone downhill under the new mgmt. Too bad!

Great group lunch. Service was perfect, food was great. I was looking for a place that could accommodate a large-ish group (10) and they were great. Everyone enjoyed their meal (with the exception of an undercooked burger) and the staff was very helpful. It’s very loud and the tables are very crowded together. I would recommend dining outside if weather permits.
