Sammie's Italian - Austin

High-volume (up to 11 turned) dimly lit culinary experience. overpriced, but decent eating. ordered chicken piccata, beet starter, grilled broccoli. delicious and good portions, but not different from other restaurants at a lower price. not for a quiet date night. better for Swiss west 6th folks with. elegant waitress and cozy Italian kitchen in old style.

Eating and table waitress was amazing. gastgeber wasn't great. we arrived at 8:30 a.m. and we didn't set up until 9 a.m. we rolled her eyes when we asked how long it would be.

The service was impeccable. I shared in my reservation request it was a birthday and they sat us exactly where I asked, brought champagne and his favorites: tiramisu. 12/10 experience!

Sammie's is one of my Fav places in Austin it is across the street from my home, the staff is excellent and the food is delicious! Drinks are really good too!

It is always so loud that you have to scream at your dinner partners.
