If you've seen any Korean dramas and you see them drinking and eating outside that's the vibe you get. The menu is very extensive for a place this size and has a lot of the authentic Korean foods to accompany soju. They also have karaoke at night on the wknds. You would never guess this place would exist in the middle of north Lamar area. It's tucked in between a bar and some shops. This is going to be my go to place for a Korean bar experience with a group of friends just having a good night out drinking sonu and eating seafood pancakes. I highly recommend their soups and fried chicken. Can't go wrong. Their grilled mackerel is one of my favorite things on the menu. I would just say go give it a try.
This place was perfect! Right when you walk in, it smells exactly how a korean drinking restaurant smells! It really brought us back. The food was amazing (I've been looking for Cheese Buldak for forever and they have it! They also serve soju and beer so it's a perfect drinking spot. They're open til about 2am. The only thing is that the service may be a little slow. We waited maybe 30 mins to be served. BUT let me tell you. IT WAS WORTH IT. Come with a lot of patience because you can't get any more authentic than this. I can't wait to go back!
I love the food here, but I really wish they’d fix their hours. I’ve gone 2xs around 12am/ 1am and despite the hours saying they’re open they’re not. Aside from that, everything is great. Just wish my late night Korean crave would work out.
The food tasted decent, the service was good. The prices were high for the taste. I think I had a canned sprite for like 4 dollar give or take. An 8bto 10oz stone cooking bowl of rice and minced beef that didn't have much flavor for 20+ dollars. Still give it a try they have a big menu selection, maybe I need to try something else.
Had high hopes for the restaurant but all the entrees cost $7-8 more in the restaurant than the listed prices on their website. Seafood pancake and dumplings were each $3 more. A bottle of Miller lite was $6. Fried chicken was $24. The food was only 'okay '. There are several good Korean places nearby on Lamar that are much better: Korean Grill or Seoulju...
