Valencia’s Tex-mex Garage Domain Northside

Anyone in Austin will tell you that Tex-Mex restaurants are a dime a dozen around here. And having had very good Tex-Mex before I have high standards. As a result I avoided Cyclone as it looked very generic as far as Tex-Mex goes. I finally decided totry it out and I wish I had gone earlier. Very good food, very fast and friendly service, and a generic but fun atmosphere.Definitely recommend as one of my top Tex-Mex choices.

Beautiful restaurant, nice vibe. Our waitress Carina was very professional. Food was mediocre.

Really enjoyed the chips and salsa. The food overall was good, nothing super special. I did enjoy the shrimp tacos but I could get an equally good shrimp taco just about anywhere else too. Prices were fair and the atmosphere was nice. Sat on the porchwhich was nice but they have the most uncomfortable seats I’ve ever sat in, this is something I would never comment on butseriously the most uncomfortable seats ever! They made me want to leave. The tres leches was excellent and definitely thehighlight of the dining experience.

Large party and they accommodated us really well. Food was really good. They kept on top of refills, etc.

Very up beat atmosphere. Food was great prices are reasonable. Everything went well! Took a little long with the food order but they were extremely busy. Happy mother's day to all!!
