Zaika Indian Cuisine - Austin

We love Zaika, whether dining in or taking out. During our last visit, the food was too spicy for my son, and they kindly made another dish for him. The owner is always very pleasant, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food always has a great amount of flavor. However, during our last visit, the chicken masala was a bit milder than usual. That's my only complaint.

The Sunday evening buffet is absolutely fantastic—100% vegan and oil-free! There are three different tables filled with a variety of dishes, all incredibly delicious. I will definitely be coming back regularly.

I had the incredible honeycomb vegetarian buffet. Even though I'm not a vegetarian, everything tasted fantastic and there was plenty of variety. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The flavors were delightful, and the naan bread was authentic! I can't wait to go back and try some other menu items; they looked amazing!

For buffet. that was cold. we asked them to warm up the food. they heated a bowl of each curry one after another and brought on the table, then we asked about the broth. They pointed to the buffet. we said it? but that's cold, so they went in and made hot. but then the curries were cold again on our table. we have not even asked to heat the appetizers that they did not heat the food, unless we expressly ask to heat a particular dish. the food tasted terrible because it was cold. we had to pay for 2 children, 2 adults, about $70. we can have a great meal for so much money anywhere in austin. they also lied on the phone about the price of the buffet for children. they said it is the half of the price for what they charge for adult who was 15,99 and when we went, they accused us 12,99 for every child. go to your own risk.

This place has one of the best varieties of Indian food and the buffet has one of the best selections.
