Can not comment on rooms as did not stay there. However, Sunday lunch was awesome as usual, and the landlord his usual happy self. Great service and always more veg or gravy available on request if required. Dog friendly a bonus. Lovely in the winter when they have the log fires going. Just by chance popped in here for a bite to eat, welcomed by our host and clearly told that food would be 30 minutes minimum due to a walk in 12 top that had just arrived, we accepted this and ordered some excellent Otter Ale. Food was definitely worth the wait! Cod and Mediterranean vegetables was delicious as was 'er indoors salmon Wellington, potato gratin and vegetables. 2 spotless plates sent back to the kitchen. Highly recommend a visit. Unhurried, relaxed atmosphere, good ale and great grub! Service: 5
