It had a strange taste that I couldn't identify as japanese. The beef cubes were also weird to the taste and a strange after taste lingered. I had a spoonful of each and realized it wasn't what I was looking for. Luckily, I was with my parents and grand parent, being hungry as they were consumed everything. I would not recommend if your looking for Japanese food. Decor is the only thing that is ok with this place.
My friend was craving agedashi tofu, so we went in here for a quick snack. We had the agedashi tofu and mango kani salad. I'd say I am quite satisfied. I liked the kani salad especially. It's a simple salad consisting of lettuce, tomato and crab sticks chopped up to make a spread-like consistency. The mango dressing was tangy and complements the greens well. I liked the agedashi tofu as well, however, my friend wasn't very happy with her agedashi tofu. She said the one at kimono ken tastes better.
So-so ???????? I liked the Spicy Shake Maki Ebi Tempura is a so-so But when it comes to desserts, don't order Halo-halo. Might as well order that from other restaurant or fast food chain who are more experts at Halo-halo.
It was my first time to dine here although my mom bought a Shake Boat here before. I always pass by this restaurant since it's at the entrance of Trinoma but never got the chance to eat here. Good thing they changed their interiors and it's brightly lit now unlike before - it's more inviting now. As for the food, I like what we ordered (especially the Kani Maki) except for the Mango Kani Salad. It has a weird aftertaste and the mangoes used were sour. One of our orders (I forgot the name of the dish) took so long before it was served. There was no staff at the entrance so they didn't notice when two solicitors went in and went around the restaurant.
No matter how many times I eat their gyudon I'm still going to love it like I haven't tasted such thing before ???? and the sushi Mmmm. I could eat here everyday. And OMG I forgot the chawan Mushi and the chicken. No words. So much flavor it didn't disappoint.
