Very friendly and helpful. Pastrami tasted so good. Remember how it was years ago. The first time here. Will definitely return.
The first time. Super friendly staff and we were welcomed at the entrance to the restaurant. The waitress has received and reviewed us to ensure that we were satisfied with our order. I order the open sandwich with corn beef and juicy pastrami with one side of Jumbo Steak size frits. That was delicious. But the juicy pastrami was by no means juicy, which was the only disappointing part of the culinary experience.
Delicious. I recommend eating this facility for a quick bite. If you have decided to sit down, the facility is clean, and the waiting period between ordering and receiving your food is minimal. The food is good, especially its cold cuts, such as pastrami or corned beef. Your Bratbeef is also top notch. Overall, this is a great place to eat for a quick bite. My only complaint is that the bathroom needs renovation, and the food can pricy, depending on what you get.
Kosher delis are truly a dying breed. Due to demographics and economics it is impossible for them to survive, even here in NYC. This place is the real deal offering fresh authentic fare for a reasonable price. This restaurant is family owned and run. The staff is young, friendly and competent. One of the reasons by son moved back to NY from Indiana was to savor the matzoh ball soup here. There is absolutely nothing bad about this place. The soup, sandwiches and fries are fresh and tasty. Hurry on over to eat as I'm not sure how much longer this place can remain viable. I go almost weekly. Final note, keep taking you cholesterol medication if you eat here.
