We had a great experience at this restaurant with fantastic customer service. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered us some great recommendations. He was friendly, helpful, and genuine. The food was delicious, especially the coconut-cashew curry which was heavenly. Everything came out quickly and we were impressed with the service. This restaurant has only been open for 8 months but is definitely worth a visit. The prices are good, and we were able to have two appetizers and share a main dish for a reasonable price. They are not fully vegan but have many vegan options available. Our waiter was attentive to our dietary needs. We will definitely be back soon for more delicious food!
This Indian restaurant is a great choice if you like traditional spicy vegan dishes. The owner is friendly and passionate about creating a space for vegetarian and vegan dining, as well as caring for the environment.
After looking at the menu, I noticed that some items had a "v" or vegan option. My partner ordered the dosa (which had a "v" next to it) but still specified vegan just to be sure. I did the same for the aloo paratha with chole, and we also shared the curried samosas. There weren't many vegan options in the entree section that I noticed. The curried samosa was delicious - a crunchy samosa topped with sev and spices with chickpeas. However, when my aloo paratha arrived, it came with yogurt on the side. I asked if it was vegan and it wasn't, so they removed the bowl of yogurt. I double-checked that the rest of the dish was vegan and they confirmed it was. About 15 minutes later, I inquired about the dosa and it was on its way, but it took around 20-25 minutes after my dish came. Despite the wait, the food was tasty. I enjoyed my paratha and the dosa I tried. However, I was disappointed that items marked with a "v" didn't necessarily mean they were automatically vegan. I felt uncertain about the menu and believe they need to improve in that area.
We tried the fantastic vegan thali and a few additional dishes and couldn't find a single flaw. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. A visit to this restaurant is essential when in Perth.
