Doc's Refresher - Berkeley

Loved this place! Awesome Cocktails and Fabulous Tasting Essen. especially the perpetrator-tarts drowned with truffle oil.. Amazing! The bartenders are very friendly and make bomb drinks! Alex was great and very informative!! **** Marys should die!

Juicy Burger was delicious, but I found the portions a bit small for the price. The bartender was friendly and well-informed. The venue is cozy with a straightforward menu. For craft beer enthusiasts, they had six options on tap, along with more available in bottles. I believe that these kinds of places should always have at least one domestic beer on tap.

Before the pandemic, we became huge fans of Doc, and I was thrilled to see they've reopened for delivery and takeout. For our first visit back, we ordered the classic burgers and truffle fries. They’ve introduced some new sandwiches too, which I couldn't resist trying. I highly recommend the burger and the fries!

Doc’s knows how to throw a party! I planned my rehearsal dinner to be had at Doc’s last week and it was a great time. Food and drinks were coordinated in a self serve family style format with a Totcho bar and punch bowl. Everything was set up and tasted great! They were super quick to refill the platters as they ran out, and were super accommodating. Lively atmosphere with an arcade in the back for the kids. If you need a party held for any occasion Doc’s is the place to go!

Everything, from the front sign featuring Trump to the burgers and beer, was excellent. I had a great time with friends, and I was happy that it was just down the street from our hotel. I look forward to visiting again when I'm in Berkeley!
