Eating was good, not inventive or absolutely delicious. smaller than the price quality. Drink menu was great. I had added in dessert two times before birthday candles for the sisters I ordered twice, and was told twice that it would be done, but it was not. for this price class would expect this level of simple service.

Beautiful restaurant and one of my favorites in berkeley. large free and common plates with an authentic Japanese taste with a new twist. the cocktails are very special and also worth a try!

This restaurant is calculated as an authentic rustic japaner, and given reviews and reviews I was thrilled to take my father there while he visited. eating was heavy and nowhere near authentic (the main dish is a spaghetti? and the taste profiles are overwhelmed. for the quality of eating and ambientes, this is also hardly a restaurant that should also take a deposit for a reservation. steer clear if you’re looking for good japanese; they will not find it here.

I made a reservation at 7:45pm, but my friend was a bit late. I was able to postpone it to 8pm. I strongly recommend Kakiage Tempura with Black Tiger Shrimp, and they gave us someone's food. They apologized and I think it is ok. I will try the steak next time. Ambiance is good for dinner.

Always an memrable meal. The food is exceptional, the service flawless. The street is such a great shopping street too!
