A very small place with some tables and sitting on a bar where they can also eat. we have kept and they had reserved a part of a community table. you put your food on and then they'll take it to you. eating is French and great. we had a goat's cheese gallette, an egg and rodeur sandwich and a vegie sandwich on baguette. we thought it would be great. only not a table service, although they can get a glass of wine with their meal. and the staff was super nice. good to know a casual place that has so good eating, even if it is a little “sea” inside.
Very nice caffe and beautiful place to eat. smaller than expected and a table to reserve means to take one of the only tables in the restaurant. that said eating was excellent and the staff was very friendly and easy to go. I'm going back to the finals.
Great food, fun casual bistro-like with a short but very good wine list and even a French beer or two. Not much on ambience but one we'll return to again especially when we're in downtown Berkeley.
The food was very good but I thought the side salad could have been dressed up a little. I made a reservation and was delighted to have a table reserved. The ten minute wait to reach the register to order and then sit down was a surprise. I will visit again but not for a special lunch. This is more of a coffee shop with food than a sit down cafe. Cute little place just not what I was expecting for a place that takes reservations.
