Falafel was tasty but its not really falafel, missing the right spices. Hummus is just chickpea paste, like American hummus. Middle eastern style would also have tahini, olive oil, lemon, cumin and paprika. Also we were charged 5% extra health safety fee without any notice. There’s no more pandemic, this is just not ok anymore
If you are a vegetarian in USA you know the feeling of searching food. This is a Mediterranean place with awesome veg options like falafel wrap, bowl, tabouleh, hummus, babaganoush, ezme ad fries and wraps. Taste is authentic.
Chicken kebab was half cooked though I waited for a long time. And when they try to charge me 20% tips on their own for a counter service without letting me make the choice makes me not return. Good luck.
Considering the abundance of restaurants on Center Street, I think this is the greatest spot to eat. The cuisine is prepared quickly and isn't overly sweet or salty, which is the main factor. I wish there was more room for tables and less proximity between them in the restaurant.
Ordered chicken skewers and got Kefka Skewers. Staff in Berkeley is absolutely rude when I called the next day to inform that I got the wrong dish even after tipping the guy. I would rate 0 if possible.
