Excluding taxes from prices is deceptive and frustrating for customers, leading them to overspend and requiring extra calculations. It also seems like a sneaky tactic to pass on additional fees to patrons. Pricing transparency, respectability, and a seamless customer experience are achieved by including tax in the price. Additionally, the staff here are very relaxed and the hot dogs are delicious.

I would not even give this restaurant one star for the service we received. My wife was taking a picture of the restaurant to remember our positive experience at topdog, a famous place known for its history and delicious food. Suddenly, a Latino employee started yelling at my pregnant wife and harshly demanded that she delete all the photos. We were extremely offended by her behavior, as we had no idea what we had done wrong. We apologized twice even though we were unsure of the issue, but the employee almost threw our food at us. It seems that racism may still be present in this establishment. I regret giving her a tip when we paid. I do not know if the owner will see this review, but I hope that other Asian customers do not have to experience such a humiliating situation.

An old shop that a Cal alumni recommended to try. You have to try it to know that it's really delicious. Top Dog menu is a small sausage that extends through the bread. Crispy skin, juicy meat inside. Spoon chopped onions and pickled cabbage over lots of mustard. Just a little bit of ketchup. Very delicious. The bread isn't tough. The seller looked very authentic and in a good mood.

Impolite and rude latino employee, the owner should review their employees . She asked to pay cash for less than 5 , i didn't get her and i was about to pay with card, the employee who was cooking yelled at me and took the card reader with rudeness and told me to leave. I'll never again go to this store, i don't request it for anybody
