The crispy potatoes paired nicely with it. I also tried a coffee that might be the best I’ve ever had in Berkeley. While the prices were a bit higher than I typically prefer, I came in hungry and left feeling satisfied, thoroughly enjoying the meal.
The interior design is fantastic and the coffee is excellent. However, the music was a bit too loud, and the service came across as overly enthusiastic in a way that felt somewhat insincere.
Nice place, okay to bring kids to lunch, but still manages to have a dinner for adults and drinks at night. I think it's hard to reach! I liked the hash for breakfast, and I liked the oyster option in the evening. Good wine list. We had a pasta dinner with pork that was very good.
Everything we tried was very delicious. Many unique flavors, but it works everything. The staff is friendly and at the top. Absolutely come back.
I'm always searching for great cafes to work in, and Western Pacific is definitely one of them! The interior is beautiful, and while the selection of pastries is somewhat limited, they are absolutely delicious. The location is also quite lively and enjoyable. I ordered a chai, which was a bit more bitter than what I'm accustomed to, but it still had a pleasant and mild flavor. The only drawback is that seating is limited—Berkeley students seem to love studying here—and parking can be quite challenging and expensive in Downtown Berkeley.
