I'll preface this by saying that I've been to several other Panatieri's establishments. I'm always impressed by the quality of the pizza and Panatieri's of Bound Brook is no different! When you enter the pizzeria, you're greeted by a massive selection of slices with various toppings. I decided to go with a square slice (not sure if this was the Brooklyn, Grandma, or a different one) and a tortellini slice. The square had a pleasant, fluffy base with a spicy, flavor-packed sauce, and a deliciously fresh cheese. The tortellini slice was excellent and very filling. It had great structure and foldability. Cheesy deliciousness would be the best explanation for that slice. If you've never tried slices from Panatieri's, you're missing out.
I ordered two catering style pastas. The tortellini were amazing the egg plant ziti was alright. While the pastas were great the guy that answered the phone and when picking up the food was a bit rude. I think he was the owner. I spent over $100 dollars for an event I was having and when placing the order I felt so rushed and just no type of friendly customer service. He was just blunt. Once I get there he doesn't even say hello. Just tells me to pay and that's it. Idk I was just dissatisfied.
They messed up our order and we called to let them know that our pizza was prepared wrong and the wings undercooked. When we called the manager refused to talk to my girlfriend because she was female, and when I was talking to him, he refused to say that he did anything wrong. And still would not talk on the phone, had the waiter relay the message to him, so we went there and got very hostile and defensive despite our proof of undercooked chicken and misprepared pizza. Will not go back and will never recommend to anyone. I will always recommend against this place.
First time eating here. Got 2 pies, on one they put all the wrong toppings the other had a spicy marinara sauce on it... Even beside the mess ups, the pizza were awful. I don't think I've had a bad slice of pizza in New Jersey in my whole life other than the chain places like domino's but these pizzas were just about inedible they were so bad.
