I am a really patient person, but when I finished my drink about 20-30 minutes later, the pizza was ready. I don't mind. the pizza didn't look as I had imagined, but it was really good. overall it is a really beautiful place. sporty look, beautiful atmosphere, would go again.
Two months ago I called big mikes to organize a party that I had on 23rd april for my mother's 90th birthday. her favorite is lasagne and I was said to make bakes a pan that would feed twenty people, salat and brot for $195.00, but it was early to place the order. a month later I called again and said that it was too early to place the order that they could only take two days before the party's order, but they would write it up for me. I would fly from denver this day, so I was the first thing I did. instead of calling, I went to the restaurant and was told that I could only place the command with mike and he was not there at the moment, that were two on the afternoon. the encounter with the hired who played a little was a little unpleasant and she made a comment that was a bit strange and if I remember correctly, the sense that this catering deal would not happen even after several attempts were made to call and place the order. the hired man got mike on the phone and he said he couldn't pick up my question as there was already one or two orders in the house. I wasn't very happy because I tried two or three to place this order, it was two days before the party and I had twenty five people present. to make it even worse, there was no empathy of the hired or mike, he even asked me the name of the person who gave me these information, as this is my problem. I am not proud of myself, but with his attitude and lack of empathy, to which I am hanged and disembarked. I just couldn't believe a business would do to a customer. I hope mike trains his employees on all his processes around taking orders, especially catering, and allows people to place more than two days in advance and order when a big party. fortunately I could find a place for me and the food was delicious and the party was a success, not thanks to mike and his business.
Omg mike has the best meatballs I've ever had! the pizza coughs it so fresh that it is as if my little old Italian oma in the kitchen that makes it. the meat balls are soft and well seasoned. salat was fresh and the garlic knots were cooked to perfection. super friendly staff and a good price for the amazing quality of eating. it is really a hidden gem in brevard.
Very few places open on Sunday, so we decided to eat here. we should have had our chances elsewhere. a male server said we had to wait 15 minutes until a table showed up when there was a table that had to be fed so that we could sit. shortly after, another table left and a waitress made the bus and cleaned it for us so we could sit. she took our drink order and forgot my water and the soda of my man came with ice when he did not ask for any ice. the kitchen seemed to be either disorganized or overwhelmed, because the commands of men were staggered. it took about half an hour to get our appetizer of garlic cheese brot, which was good, but overpriced. my man asked for a piece of pure brot he said he would pay extra and they brought him 3 pieces of garlic bread he could not eat and a piece of pure brot? that he asked. he was charged $3.00. we ordered 2 personal pizzas? a margherita and a pfefferoni, and my man ordered a grilled huhn? salat? Maybe if we had ordered a whole pizza? would it come faster? the restaurant began to slow down since we placed our orders. it had to take at least 45 minutes before we got our food. eating was okay, but the price we paid was creepy. we don't drink alcohol and for three of us where a person only drank water, an appetizer, the extra brot I mentioned, 2 personal pizzas and a grilled chicken salad?, the total was $45.00 plus drinking money, so $60.00 total. we always tap well, although our server has mainly executed the bar. they seemed to be understaffed what I get in these times, but we will not be back when in the opposite.
This place is a gem. Staff is so friendly and the food is delicious. The ceaser salad and garlic knots hit the absolute spot tonight. They have local beer and a really comfortable atmosphere. Look no further than Big Mike’s. Matt was a great host and made us feel at home.
