Contribuisci feedbackThe worst pizza operation I've ever seen and eaten! Pizza was pushed behind other customers. Crust was chewy and not at all crispy. I don't write many bad reviews but the food served to me was the worst I've ever received from any establishment. Don't go. Not worth the time or money.
I attempted to order some pizzas yesterday at the Grillizza food truck. I requested a Pigs Blanket, but in an adult size. My husband, who had requested the order, prefers plain food and there was really nothing else on the menu that looked as appealing to him. I was told by the lady who was working under their tent (not sure what role she plays in the business) that she would not make a Pigs Blanket pizza for an adult. When that was scratched, I asked for a Plain Jane. She immediately asked if this was for a child and I told her that it was, indeed, for my daughter who was a child. She stated that she would not make an adult version of these two kids items under any circumstances or allow an adult to be served an order from the kids menu. I was a little shocked, because I have never run into a food truck (or restaurant for that matter) who absolutely refused to work with a customer in such a manner. I didn 't have a problem with her desire to strictly adhere to her menu, it was the abrasive tone and unwillingness to even have a conversation about it that made me go elsewhere for dinner last night.
This is a creative business idea, with nothing really like it in town! I ordered lunch here once this summer at the Farmers Market in Harrisonburg and tried the apple jack pizza. Prices are a bit high but food was pretty yummy and filling. We were a little disappointed to see the pizza crusts weren 't truly fresh, as they were pre-cooked and essentially just warmed on the grill with toppings (although this also lends itself to quick cooking times too). I 'm not sure I would go back here but it was fun to try once.
